2 onions finely diced
2 tins Gold Seal No Drain Tuna
½ cup bacon bits
½ cup sundried tomatoes
6 cups cooked pasta (penne or bowties or macaroni)
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup smoked cheddar cheese
Directions
- In a large saucepan over med/high heat combine chicken stock and cream cheese whisk until cheese is melted about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Pre heat oven to 350
- In a greased 9 x 12 baking pan add pasta than Tuna, onions, bacon and sundried tomatoes mix well
- Next mix in cheeses than cover with cream cheese sauce. Up to this point recipe can be made a couple hours or a day ahead of time.
- Bake covered for 45 minutes, than remove cover and bake for another 20 minutes.
Always good to let this rest for a few minutes when you take it out of the oven before serving.
